Yes. Patients located anywhere in California can be seen via secure video visits.
How can I contact Dr. Cruz between visits?
You will have access to Dr. Cruz through portal messaging and email for simple clarifications and questions.
If new concerns arise that require adjustments to your treatment plan or a more in-depth discussion, a follow-up call or brief visit will be scheduled to address them.
How often are follow up appointments?
A follow-up visit is typically scheduled about 3–4 weeks after your initial consultation to review lab results and refine your personalized health plan. The frequency of additional follow-ups varies based on your individual progress and is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
How do visits work?
Your first functional medicine visit will last 60 minutes, during which Dr. Cruz will review your health concerns, personal history, past lab work, medications, and supplements.
She will recommend relevant lab testing and provide an initial plan covering nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation, and medications as needed.
What are your fees?
The initial consultation is $499 and includes a 60-minute comprehensive visit. You'll receive a personalized health plan, a review of advanced lab testing, and guidance for ongoing support.
Follow-up visits are $249 and typically last 30 minutes. Lab testing and supplements are not included and will be discussed during your visit.
Can I use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for visits?
Yes. HSA funds can be used to pay for visits, testing, supplements, medications, and medical devices.
Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Cruz does not accept insurance for her services. However, you may use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the cost of visits, lab testing, and recommended supplements or medications. Some devices and diagnostic tests may be eligible for insurance coverage, depending on your specific plan. We’re happy to provide documentation to support reimbursement when applicable.
